Blogging Contest to win tickets!
186 movie tickets are up for Grabs! Not to forget, you might be the lucky one to win back “The Other Guys” prizes for the blogging contest. Blogging contest closes on the 10th October 2010.
Mechanics:
i) Tell us how you’ll stand out by being THE OTHER GUYS.
Being "the other guys", there isn't a sure-proof way of standing out from the huge shadows of those highly admirable cops Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson, not to mention they probably trump you in every other aspect you think you're capable of doing. Thus, we'll have to play dirty. And I mean, play coy and "friends" with them, spy and follow them, then lastly sabotaging them at their jobs (the thing they do best).
Pretend by helping them wrap up a case, then use typical hollywood-style trickery, spiking their drinks and locking them up in a room for a few days before claiming that important case as yours. Sure, this would only last for awhile, but without them in the way, you're free to take in all the glory, credits (and girls), and this way, you'll definitely stand out!
ii) Being THE OTHER GUYS (outcasts) have its own advantages… Tell us why!
You're off the radar. People expect nothing from you, although it might look like a disadvantage, it gives you time and privacy to plan, brainstorm and come up with new ideas and something better that no one has probably thought about yet without the risk of unwanted eyes trying to follow or steal your ideas. You're low key, till your time to shine!
This example can very well be implemented in Steve Job's case before the iPod, with Microsoft's huge shadows out casting Mac from the computing world. But this led to innovation in Apple's case where suddenly, they took the world by storm, all because they were first outcasts.
