Birthday compilation

I was booked real early by steph for my DIMSUM treat, it’s a total first for me waking up at 6am on my birthday for a treat plus the very happy fact that we finally manage to be on time for something for the first time! lol!

With ample time to burn, we went to the National Science Centre! (NOT, because it’s my birthday, but just because we wanted to lol).
It’s been ages since I’ve been there, and I could feel it all coming back to me now!

Hmm… two wild people in one huge playground? That’s a recipe for total lameness!

lmao what were we thinking?

In the evening was my very first paintball session with some of the guys. Hell, didn’t I ever feel so much adrenaline rush in a long time, getting pinned down by fast (& painful) rounds of paintballs coming at’cha from both sides and pushing yourself into the airwall certainly felt like a matter of life and death… is definitely an aphrodisiac. Certainly will go back for more.

and the wounds...

The night ended with a lil treat at our most beloved weekend spot, H.I.D.E.! Ahh… what would we do without you… =)

But a good birthday wouldn’t be one without good food right!? So just had to have some the next day at (a place steph & I wanted to try) Bavarian Bierhaus.

I'm clueless why it has different names

We were also sitting on cute tall chairs.

The food’s presentation was mediocre, but bless them was the food GOOD!

Didn’t look like a lot though, but we both ended up feeling sick because we over indulged/stuff ourselves… again! It’s been the 5th time (if I can remember, period) that we murdered ourselves with food!

Eating good food is pure suffering... plus we had desert!

While steph stole my brithday limelight as she camwhored and whored all night cause she's all dressed up after her photoshoot. And i? well...i just stoned lol. But it was all good =D

Steph, you’ll be the reason I grow fat, and I’ll be the reason you grow fat too!

Sealing my birthday off are 3 bloggers and close friends: ish, weili & joel who did a birthday post for me, I really THANK YOU, it was really really sweet of you guys man… what more can I ask for? Best birthday presents ever!

Words really limit me to describe how this birthday has been… but simply AMAZING.

*The other loads of pictures of the day are on facebook*

Merry Christmas people.

proposal

Known by many simply as a Channel [V] VJ, she’s more to that, adding on: a smile so saccharine it’s a dessert sinful just looking at it, top it off with her really cute freckles. Slightly British-accented, a woman with soft, well mannered spoken voice and of little words that somehow denotes a sense of silent intelligence in her, furtive, keeping guys like me, on their feet and wondering what’s on her mind. Ahh… I can feel the tension swell already.

A potential good wife/future-mom I and many would say, with indirect but visible qualities that has what it takes to make any man’s mom happy and yet, still able to see a side of her that’s fun, crazy and a big goofball.

How do I know? Can I say I just feel it? (plus the intensive research I did baby! LOL)

But I do have quite accurate schema about people, (seriously!) it’s true about your eyes being the window to your soul you know, well, at least to me. And yes, I have looked into her eyes.

But say it isn’t true! Sarah Tan and Soo Kui Jien are getting married!

I always had this negative image toward Jien, (I know many have too! Plus the fact he’s dating Sarah!) I don’t know... there’s just something about him I just can’t stand! (not that he's charming or anything, just...) But the fact is, their getting married. sigh.

Anyway, here's a small taste of my obsession with Sarah Tan:

freckles has never look this attractive

she and her two sisters

Vintage Sarah!

Sarah and Ryan Star

Another thing that i admire is her humbleness towards her fame, and i quote:

"This is just a job, not a lifestyle. Everybody has a shelf life, you could be everyone’s favorite one minute and nobody’s the next."

Tell me, after those words... how can you not fall in love with a woman like that? =P

AND HER VERY... VERY HOT LEGS

definitely 'Sex on Legs'

The only woman in my life! HAHA!

I Am Legend, is a fairly above-average movie for me. The movie follows the same pathology of an apocalyptic plague similar to that of 28 Weeks Later where it trails a minority of humans trying to survive in a zombie infested world. Considering that the zombie film genre has overly stretched itself a little too far over time… this movie was able to pack punches doing a fine job of reenacting this genre.

Good rounds of suspense throughout with nice views of the “Big Apple” all to yourself and providing you with a very real sensation of being all alone.
But the movie has its drawback as it lacks relevance, meager quality zombie CGI and an ending that wasn’t something that could be remembered. Even so, Will Smith did fabulous and nailed his character flawlessly, he saved the movie. (the dog helped too, seriously!)

I’m on movie fever! Having too many movie review posts already man. Bare with me.

Enchanted was very entertaining too! lol

dysfunctional family

_

A good friend of mine left for Chicago today, for a year. Unfortunately Shaun’s the only guy I can talk to in college that I find “on the same page”. Not caught up with the bullshit in life (that guy’s me lol), down to earth, and just very genuine is now half way around the world. Not only a good friend, also the only business team mate that I really trust and can work with... somehow lol. Its weird how two friends of so much dysfunctional value and incongruity have a fairly hard time doing group work and being inconsistence in a lot of stuff, always manage to pull of the best of group presentation and getting unexpected good marks… all worthwhile in the end eh Shaun? lol

And not to forget our other dysfunctional family members: Chris, Noelle and Sherene =)

The Kingdom with wk and vakar.

Starring Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper and Jennifer Garner.

To begin with, I was never really a fan of Jennifer Garner but in the movie, somehow she looks really attractive… weird because the entire time she was with a T and in cargo pants lol. Even so, she still looked attractive. It must be because she didn’t have to act pretty, hot or “I’m-tha-full-package-baby!” kinda role and play it down, and just be a normal woman for abit.

After seeing this other side of her, somehow it really amplifies the whole attraction feeling and a picture like this, which wasn’t really that appealing at first... looks really hot now haha!

Review:

Definitely one of the “must-watch” movies on my list. A well-paced thriller until the very end with satisfying and entertaining action scenes while most importantly, able to retain a balanced storyline of drama and comedy. The action is quite detailed with explosions, shootings, killings, fights and loads of blood…
all the right ingredient to make a good action movie! haha

and I quote:

"It's a popcorn movie that leaves the taste of ashes in your mouth."

Quite a number of scenes have already been censored though, particularly due to the issue of the Islam religion in the movie. Among all those action… the best part, the part that makes any movie a good movie... is that you unknowingly get drawn into and find yourself with this invisible bond between you and the characters in the movie. And when it all ends, you somehow feel as though you knew them yourself.

I especially like the ending, it make you… think a little =)

Go watch it.

A hole in a bun

OK last month, the plan was to go in, pretend we were foreigners, in particular Hongkongeses lol and tour the PAVILION so we could take loads of picture with an excuse and without people staring at us lol. Ahh... blending into the whole experience of being clueless and walking aimlessly just like a tourist would (how I miss that real experience, but this is close enough lol).

And since we are at the PAVILION, we just had to get into the whole donut obsession and line up for 20mins!
Just to get our hands & mouths on those J.COs. Ok actually, we went there all because of them donuts! =D

______"Don't blame us for making U addicted"

donuts!

donuts!

donuts!

We bought a dozen, and had another 2 free when we ordered drinks! =D

To tell you the truth, it wasn't the experience we hoped for, a lot worst actually lol. Just eating 2 each alone could have killed us. It was so rich till the point that when I had my third, I wanted to puke badly. Who knew eating donuts could be this torturing!

____ yea, and just 9 more to go.

sLim's constipated face after too much donuts

Us posing like tourist ahahaha!
