Michael Jackson isn't dead!

At least in our hearts he isn't, and he might actually live stronger now than ever before. As it goes, you'll never really appreciate someone till they're gone.

It's amazing how the news of one man's death could literally make the entire world stop and acknowledge him of his monumental works for at least a day, over every type of human media all over the globe.

An "unparalleled" worldwide legendary influence, having been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records — including one for "Most Successful Entertainer of All Time"—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career — more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 era and the sale of 750 million records worldwide earning him the title 'world's best selling male pop artist' and the 'King of Pop'.

But it isn't so much his records that made us adore him, but more so that he was one of the only (if not 'the only') trendsetter icon who preached his believes in Peace & Love through his music. For that alone, he is great.

=============================================
And here's a something that moved me, a post written by a friend of mine about Michael Jackson:
=============================================

This is not a hypocritical post about how much I love and miss the King of Pop.

This is a post about an ordinary human being who happened to live an extraordinary life.

I have never paid much attention to Michael Jackson. Sure, I've seen his amazing moonwalk and crotch-grabbing dance moves and heard some of his songs but admittedly, I never fell in love with him the way the rest of the world did.

So when I received news of his passing, my heart didn't miss a beat. It only struck me as a sad event of a loss of a human life. I wasn't at all surprised when I logged into Facebook to find my entire page filled with updates about him, but I was taken aback with what I discovered when I spontaneously decided to do a little research on this so-called musical icon.

Five first reactions prior to the 'enlightenment':
1. That joke about him being a poor black boy growing up to be a rich white lady.
2. Paedophile.
3. Freaky, bizarre.
4. That image of him dangling his child over a balcony.
5. He likes grabbing his crotch.

Five facts after:
1. As a child he was abused by his father.
2. One family accused him of sexually violating their son - evidence was inconclusive and 30 other questioned children all denied that he was a paedophile.
3. All other allegations were doubtful - his own sister La Toya who later withdrew her accusations, a lady who was later revealed to be a former maid he had fired, etc.
4. A statement he made that woke me up to the fact that no matter how rich, talented, amazing someone is, he/she is still just a human being. This was released after a strip search was performed on him following 'evidence' given by the accusing child regarding the 'physical description of his genitals'. I wasn't aware that penises could look that much different from each other.
5. His life from then on went downhill.
In his life, he was put under a microscope and subject to all sorts of lies and accusations not many could have endured. Upon his death, he is hailed and worshipped as a much-loved legend. This is what society today has become. We build people up to knock them down, and there will be leeches jumping in for a ride along the way for that 15 minutes of fame, extra cash, or both, even till the very end.

Tell-tale signs of an "Ah Beng"!

_
I was just so enthralled by Monday (June 15) TheStarTwo’s main topic talking all about “Ah Bengs” that I just had to put something here.

Ah Bengs are generally used in Malaysia and Singapore to refer to ethnic distasteful Chinese male youths with low education, crude, loud, foul mouthed, speaks bad English and has a terrible sense of fashion or none at all. At least that's how the stereotype goes.
The common Ah Beng would sport an outrageously bleached or blond-dyed hair, bootcut trousers, a tight t-shirt, some not really pretty tattoos and long fingernails on all fingers or just their pinkie. It’s even wikiable! (is that even a word?)

The tell-tale signs if you are one!
  • Has typically long bleached or blond-dyed hair, spiky at the back and long in the front which he sees out of one eye.
  • Wears bootcut jeans and flamboyant shirts such as colorful floral or dragon design. However nowadays, tries to follow Japanese street fashion.
  • Sits at the table is with one leg up on the stool.
  • Has the loudest mobile ringtones around. Notoriously “Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift theme song” or Techno music. The point is to make sure others hear and notice his ringtone.
  • Have long fingernails especially on his pinkie... all the better to clean his ears/mouth/nose with.
  • He has a unique and very limited command of the English language, usually mixes few languages together with English, talks loudly and has curse words in every single sentence.
  • Has distinctive trouble with the letter “R” in words and ends up replacing it with the letter “L”, pronounces “very” as “valley” and “related” as “lee-lated”.

I'm an ESTJ?

_
Took a personally test, "The Guardian" they say i am... As an ESTJ, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you deal with things rationally and logically.

ESTJs are take-charge people. They have such a clear vision of the way that things should be, that they naturally step into leadership roles. They are self-confident and aggressive. They are extremely talented at devising systems and plans for action, and at being able to see what steps need to be taken to complete a specific task. They can sometimes be very demanding and critical, because they have such strongly held beliefs, and are likely to express themselves without reserve if they feel someone isn't meeting their standards. But at least their expressions can be taken at face-value, because the ESTJ is extremely straight-forward and honest.

ESTJ's Strengths

* Generally enthusiastic, upbeat and friendly
* Stable and dependable, they can be counted on to promote security for their families
* Put forth a lot of effort to fulfill their duties and obligations
* Responsible about taking care of day-to-day practical concerns around the house
* Usually good (albeit conservative) with money
* Not personally threatened by conflict or criticism
* Interested in resolving conflict, rather than ignoring it
* Take their commitments very seriously, and seek lifelong relationships
* Able to move on after a relationship breaks up
* Able to administer discipline when necessary

ESTJ's Weakness
* Tendency to believe that they are always right
* Tendency to need to always be in charge
* Impatient with inefficiency and sloppiness
* Not naturally in tune with what others are feeling (whattt....? no!!!)
* Not naturally good at expressing their feelings and emotions
* May inadvertantly hurt others with insensitive language
* Tendency to be materialistic and status-conscious
* Generally uncomfortable with change, and moving into new territories
