Well, happy 53rd Independence Day Malaysia.

PETALING JAYA: The Chinese cannot gain more political power in this country until the Malays achieve a fair share of the economic stake, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said. In a post titled 'To Be Or Not To Be Racist' on his blog Tuesday, the former prime minister wrote that the Barisan Nasional government would not give higher positions to the Chinese as the Malays had not achieved adequate control of the nation's economy.
- TheStarOnline

I can't seem to grasp how the word 'fair' and racial discrepancy can compliment each other in the same sentence.

So, because the Chinese are (by all natural cause) involuntarily controlling the economy of the country and the Malays are not, therefore the Chinese should not be given the power to govern the country. Yes, so let’s put our whole nation in full fledged jeopardy in the hand of a few 'filtered' leaders, as long as we do not look at the potential of human beings but the color of our skin instead. Because here in Malaysia, we're made up of small countries fighting against each other on the same island. No, no one calls each other Malaysians here, but only by our "racial integrity" that we seem so proud of.

Don’t even consider the Indians or the “others” since they are listed last in our racial government application forms anyway and post no significance to our beloved country. Who really even cares what ethnic the “others” are from.

I hate talking about political issues, especially when they are this sensitive yet so damn shallow. Has all these years of independence not taught us anything? With our 53rd independence day in sight, after 50 years, we’re still fighting the same damn racial issue. Aren't you guys tired?

1Malaysia huh?

“The NEP is about giving the Malays a fair stake in the economy of the country.” See, with that, there is already a downfall to the system; it’s one sided. Fine, perhaps back in the days it was to help the majorities (the poorer race) but after 40 years and still nothing has change? Then there’s something wrong with the system. Not all Chinese are rich fyi, so as not all Malays are poor (surprise, freaking surprise?). And what? You left out the Indians and the “others” again?

From what I’ve known about the NEP it was intended for the poor and not a particular race. It’s called an economic policy for some reason right? Unless, economics heavily depend on racism. However unfortunate, this controversy I believe is made simply as a façade in keeping Malaysians separated for the powerful few to consecutively gain profit for themselves.

Kill racism, or all Malaysia suffers.

In Limbo

For those still caught up in infinite Inception limbo, like me, here’s something for you to better understand Inception after your 528-491st time watching it.

What is Limbo? Some of you might ask, or yet to fully understand. Well let me explain, besides it being this:

It is also a state in the dream where dreamers end up caused by either going too deep into the dream levels or by getting killed in the dream while under heavy sedation. It’s an unconstructed dream space of raw infinite subconscious shared by dreamers.

Limbo would essentially be empty, unless filled with the things left behind by someone who had already been there. A state which seems more real than reality itself due to the amount of time a person would spend there, enough for one to lose their mind.
