I’ve been busy preparing for this new semester (that just started this week) and a lot of other miscellaneous stuff. Taking Business Law in a short semester that spans only 7 weeks is quite hectic, the lecturer did warn us that this is a subject that is suppose to last a year, taken alone… and NOT 7 WEEKS!

A year down to 7 weeks? You do the math…

On a faster note…

I sat in my friend’s Audi Q7 S-Line 4.2 liter V8 today,
(to be specific… it means fast lol) Setting the car from “Comfort” to “Dynamic”, the car lowers itself… and off we went.

We turned the music down so that we could hear that engine rev.

the 2 tonne, seven-seater, SUV on steroids!

Scampering down the highway at 200KM/h (yeah, you read right!) till slow cars got in the way of course, weaving through quite heavy traffic at about close to 2pm along the (now seemingly shorter) stretch Kerinchi Link interchange.

It's the highway that passes through Sri Hartamas and the National Science Centre. Going at that speed, was surprisingly smooth and very quiet! The only realization we got was from the frequent amount of cars appearing in front of us rapidly and the constant piercing sharp weaves that had to be made with hard breaking and flooring acceleration along the way. (definitely pushing the Q7).

I could literally feel the adrenaline pushing out from my chest... insane. Something unparalleled to what i have felt before.We went from HELP's KPD Block A all the way to Sri Hartamas's True Fitness and back in around 5 minutes! (taking into consideration heavy afternoon traffic & traffic lights). Despite all of that, the Q7's engine wasn't screaming at all as if it was about expire, but just gave a low-bassy-luxurious purr no matter how much we floored it.

In size… this is an SUV ON STEROIDS, BUT turning corners at 120KM/h was tremendously (I repeat...) tremendously stable. It glued itself to corners like (I don’t have an example for it) and made no screeching tire sounds and didn’t drift abit! Not even if we wanted to! There were no vibrations… nothing. Just four of us with the purring engine and a smooth weaving drive.

If you happen to notice one today, it’s definitely us =)

I sooooo need to persuade my dad to get one!

Cardin McKinney, one of the few talented American Idol contestants (with a soul-ful voice) that dropped out too early in the audition but highly memorable and listed as the “one who got away”. Despite that, I kinda stalked traced her through after American Idol ending up on her MySpace where she sings her own songs! Particularly one that I use to replay over & over again at the beginning of this year while scanning pictures of the respectfully attractive her =P

The back of my house is under major renovations and it’s gonna last my entire holidays!!! Nothing like waking up to mornings with the sounds of hammers and drills chirping in your ears and strolling around the house in curtains of dust =) no better way to enjoy my holidays alright.

Besides the fun mornings, ONE worker in particular has the guts to walk around the house in slippers!

Oh yea, I forgot… and the slippers are mine! WTH? Using my slippers!? It’s not like you came here barefooted… come on man.
It’s one thing to use my slippers and another thing to get them both from 2 different pairs! He’s using one from each pair!

Use my slippers then… but taking one from each pair and in the end destroying both is just… speechless.

I LOST MY 2^ND SPARE HANDPHONE !

Is this how karma repays me!?

I Shawn Loong, whole-heartedly found and gave back the phone to its rightful owner with only good/no intentions in mind and this is how the universe and its cosmos work in return!? By magically making my phone disappear? After what I’ve been through? SIGH.

All the more reason not to believe in karma.

I lost my phone almost the same way before, BUT this time not to be blamed because I had other valuables with it that didn’t get “stolen”/magically lost. I don’t really want to go into the details… but this time… I’m innocent and a victim of (what I strongly believe as…) a JINX!

But again, these are small material stuff that aren't going to change anything, and I’ve learn to live without that, after the constant “bad luck” of course.

Hmm… and maybe God’s teaching me an excruciating lesson on how not to be dependent on them…

...and God, I’ve learnt my lesson already, make it stop now please!
