Known for her renowned blog site, porcelain face and doll-like features… a socialite, with pictures that tell stories of a lifestyle of a growing celebrity and her rumored controversy of plastic surgery. It’s the type of girl you’ll either love or hate, something like that. Even though she has gone under the knife, many people have asked what is the big deal about it?
The most possible thing that irritates haters is the thought about her “beauty”, the only reason why she has become this famous... her artificial beauty. A lifestyle most people dream about, being the centre of attention, a lifestyle she might not have gotten if it wasn’t for her looks. People have a tendency to get jealous of others for the things they desire but cannot have, especially if it looks like the others “cheated" to get it.
Nevertheless, people knowing about it, still continue to fall, adore and envy her even though her looks isn’t natural. It’s weird how the human mind works that we are mostly & firstly driven by what we visibly perceive. And I post this out of fascination reading about her in mid 2007 (I know... very late post lol), the controversies on internet hearsays and what people have to say and have said about her.
But is she living a lie?
What does she personally thinks about herself?
Is this who she really is?
A woman living in this small GREY AREA between reality and fantasy. The realities of her natural inner characteristics blended with external fantasy/surrounding that are the consequence of her different look. Wait... isn't this just like wearing a mask?
The thing about humans is, we acclimatize to our surroundings (including/excluding masks), adapt to survive and she’ll probably say this is who she is now regardless. But where is this fine line drawn between how much of her is really HER and how much of her is the result of her new looks that assuredly made another part of her. There probably isn’t a line anymore and I’m just being one BIG busybody here lol!
Don't blame me, we are all drawn toward the things that emits tension (its in all of us!), making us curious onto stuff like gossips and tabloids that majority HUGE MAJORITY has nothing to do with us at all, let alone affect us. Fascinating lil creatures aren’t we? =)
But people, take this as awareness that we are all not that far apart from each other in reality, as we all still personally hide a little, fake a little in front of people at times but still we judge others.
BTW its interesting reading her blog sometimes and I have to say that I’m quite the fan of her especially after one of her post on Romance & Relationships, extremely well said pointers and thoughts about both sides (September 12, 2007 post). And from the way I see it, surprised or not... she’s quite your average genuine 22 year-old lady, intelligent as well definitely.
Hey, in the end what really matters is the inside right?
