I’m a Sony Fanboy!

_
Besides being very busy the past weeks and also sick for the last week, I’m spending ample time immersing myself in my one-month-old PLAYSTATION 3! (oh do you hear the echo? :P)

Alright, I might be 1 year late for the party… but then again, PS3 has just official launch itself here in Malaysia not too long ago, so I guess I’m not too late.

Ah…just when I thought I was over that stage of following up with games and the normal teenage boy’s dream, I find myself in it again. I’m already having my second childhood and definitely liking it a lot!

Who would have thought? :)

Okay, well besides the games… I obviously use it to play all my downloaded movies and series! Gone are the days of squinting eyes, upright position watching shows on my computer monitor… and hello living room! Finally any shows I can play on my TV with the comfort of my beloved sofa!

OMG, ONE TREE HILL ON THE BIG SCREEN AT LAST!
LIBERRATION I tell you! WOOHOO!

What did I hear? Is that all…you ask?

Beside the games, movies, full multimedia system and the immeasurable potential it has… If you don’t have one, I strongly urge you to… just for the simple reason it's freaking beautiful!
Is that not a good enough reason!?

that total orgasmic-fingerprint-magnet-hungry-shiny-reflective surface

I mean, look at it…. don’t tell me it does not scream out
“buy me or regret life forever!”
to you.

I want an Obama T-shirt!

Ok I'm 10 days late, but never too late to celebrate Barack Obama’s win for the presidential election, being the first African American President is definitely worth a statement of such an historic event, sadly it’s not here though.

So what does Barack Obama’s win over here mean?

Malaysia given a big slap in the face that it is actually OKAY to have other races as their Prime Minister?

Hahaha! No! Not going to happen, at least not in our life time. America took 200+ years before they ever see the lights of a black president.

Malaysia? 200 years x 10 just to be generous.

But nevertheless, this has been a wakeup call for the world...
that in this time and age... race does not matter.

And also sends a message to immature politicians, that they have to actually acquire some amount of talent or ability to influence the now less naïve people (hopefully) and to stop pulling out the 'Racial Card' every single time (yawn) they want to save their weak asses, pathetic.

In the meanwhile, GO OBAMA! :D

woah? NO WAY!

lol! respect to whoever came up with this.

Rice Noodle Rolls FTW!

My part-time job has brought me to Penang, (sadly, for a Malaysian) this is my VERY FIRST TIME setting foot on rich historic Malaysian heritage grounds that I have always disregarded.

Being in the city, filled with post-war buildings that are still used till this day, definitely gave an unalike feeling. Buildings that were mainly built by the Portuguese… I think. Don’t quote me on this; history isn’t my cup of tea.

Though I had to fly back the day itself, I got to taste a little bit of Penang (literally too). Me and my co-mate had purposely went to the dodgiest coffee shop there was just to experience the original “kopitiam” :)

And to a big surprise, it was different… nothing, nothing like KL.

The plain ‘chee chong fun’ aka rice noodle roll :)
tasted like nothing that I’ve ever had!

The sauce, omg the sauce… had 3 different sensations the moment my taste buds got a hold of it. It was first of all unexplainable, had a very strong aroma, tasted familiar and yet totally different.

Amazing for a mere simple Chinese dish.

Plus, they had super cool OLD toilets!

it's been the longest time since i've seen this...

... and somehow it fascinates me :)
