I'm with Avril!

Here's my recorded 'I'm With You' by Avril Lavigne live =)
It's abit blur and all cause it was done with my phone, so yeah.
BUT the crowd was great towards the end!

And ‘they’ wanted to ban her because she’s deemed too sexy.
Hello? Then I’m too sexy for Malaysia too!

Here we go again… don’t you guys every get it? If it’s such a big deal and that you think its “unholy” just ban Muslims from going! After all, you are only the ‘Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party’.

What has it got to do with the majority of other races from going to the concert? Just because you think it’s “unholy”… sigh, sad really.

But it’s over anyway.

Just hope AGAIN, history won’t repeat itself… AGAIN.

HAPPY 51stMERDEKA’ MALAYSIA :)

For those who think Malaysia’s screwed up… you’re damn right it is!
BUT a beautiful country with great people nevertheless…
Just that we have a major scarcity problem of leaders with intelligence… not forgetting, commonsense =/

My Happy Ending!

My long lost teenage wish of seeing Avril Lavigne LIVE,
Unexpectedly came true... for
free!

Thought I’d pass that stage in life, but this clearly proved me wrong… fate has brought me and Avril back together! For a night at least hehe.

YELLOW ZONE tickets! (really good tics)

we have to thank you again, Adrian :)

the crowd... and steph.

It was so nice going “OH! I remember this song!!” and start singing to it while waiving our lil Hotlink crackers (or whatever it’s called) haha.

It was just so nostalgic singing her songs that I and many of us grew up listening to and playing them over and over again… Ah… they were good times, good times indeed =)

Lil fact: She's actually much prettier in real life, than she already is on camera.
Like... really really pretty! *mega drools*

She played the piano and drums as well, and it was a good performance overall. There was once where I wanted to melt away when she teased the crowd doing funny hand signals!

IT WAS SO ADORABLE! AHHHH!!

NOTICE

Been trying to find that clip of her doing it but with no luck yet :(
Anyone inform me if you have it/found it!

SNHU

Mr. Victor has major sarcasm!

Being the only ones from KL, the lecturer kinda neutrally discriminate us already among the others because well, we’re from KL and have a KL look? Plus, now forced to sit in the front row of all his classes. We're like lost exotic animals there, but made people in a way, friendlier to us? But then again there are probably some that portray us as generally stuck up (to this sad place, YEAH MAYBE!)

Worst part of all, the burdened that we now have to perform extraordinarily well because of the sub-conscious expectation just because we’re from KL. Which is quite true, something to live up to and it’s motivating… so I say:

Bring it ON! KL we represent!!

*right hand in fist motion pounding left chest 3 times* haha

agony not so.

Side tracking from my aussie trip.

Little fact: HELP Uni couldn’t offer the program that we (4 other friends and me) wanted at its main campus, as a consequence shifting us over to their negligible 'other campus'. Checked it out a month before, wasn’t too happy =/

Anyway,
First official day today at that seemingly God-forsaken place was surprisingly way better than predicted, probably because I expected something unattainably low. (Which is always good, cause then anything couldn’t have gotten any lower/worst).
But that wasn’t in terms of the literal place itself that made it all better, though I need a little getting used to, but no biggie. The differences in fact are in the people, another surprise.

The people here are by large FRIENDLY, but there is always that one person that has to stands out and start to annoy me already, but that can happen anywhere.

To You: Pfft… don’t be coming up to us faking your curiosity in trying to know us, as if it really mattered to you… when all you want is to feed your inexistent ego by trying to get our undivided attention into your “cool-friendliness”, “i-know-everyone-ness” or even your sad… sad dancing.
Please, I saw your obvious big-headed façade coming my way the moment I regrettably laid eyes on you =/

On a happier note, again, YEAH people here are largely friendly, nice and conversable especially for me, happily thinking I wouldn’t have to dig into my vastly empty mandarin dictionary… just yet.

The lecturers here in general… trump most lecturers back at HELP hands down, although I have yet to see the bad ones and well, it’s only been a day… but for first impressions, it was dead on target :)

Contentedly looking forward to another day there.

Ooo… this is gonna be good =D

I'm afraid of heights!

Firstly, it's good to be back home!

Second, I’m not sure how I’m going to fit in 3 weeks of intense holiday into just a few posts, let alone WORDS! So much has happened the past few weeks it’s hard to say it all. So, what’s on my blog is just the
very plain version.

Singapore was the first stop on our way to Perth. Having only the night there, we headed to Clarke Quay.

The beautiful Clarke Quay

Steph was looking forward to seeing them more than me!
But was a disappointment, no "hooters" there except for the name lol

really entertaining ice-cream man, short video on my youtube.

The Clinic has wheelchairs for chairs!
How cool is that!?

Then we spontaneously decided to feel the wrath of the G-MAX
Reverse Bungy!!
(best choice everrrrrr!) Never had I sat on anything so insane!

Here's the video of us filled with adrenaline!

Going from 0-200 km/h in 2 secs, with 5G of force
the first time it shot up literally takes the breath out of you, its shoots up so quickly you wouldn’t be able to react fast enough to scream till you reach the top then you start to feel like you’re gonna drop of the chair anytime as it twirls and spins round.

The most adrenaline-filled moment EVER minus the fact that I was freaking scared of heights.

Next stop: Perth
