Delucca

_

Here’s a quick post on Delucca, was there 2 weeks ago for my Music Appreciation class, seeing my lecturer perform a live jazz act. It’s for assignments with extra credits and will most probably be back there again this Friday or Saturday. Starting from 10pm onwards.

The place,
dim lighting, a very nice chill-out environment, friendliest of host and overall a very good crowd and vibe that night, the food however, was mediocre with a price range of RM40+

lecturers can be kinda cool sometimes :)

Terminator Salvation Premiere!

the usual crowd...

It's been awhile since I've gotten hands on premiere movie tickets... and hell does it feel good again! A 'hard' decision that took only 2 seconds to decide when you have exams the following day... whether to go or to stay back and study? Go it was, a no-brainer.

The movie came off short from expectations, it had good satisfying action though the storyline and its characters lack sufficient connection with the audience. The Malaysian censorship did make it worst. But still, its a good entertaining action movie... especially those Motorterminators, sooo big boys' toys!

Boom Chicka Wah Wah!

_
I don’t get people, who make up total assumptions of someone just because of one petty occurrence. Especially when you hardly ever talk to the person, let alone know the person long enough to even come up with any judgment. This continues by them thinking that their ‘not-asked for opinion’ actually matters…
No, it doesn’t. No one asked for it.

To make matters worse, remarking on how to do or what to do something that is ENTIRELY SUBJECTIVE… like “How to get a girl” for instance.

Oh really? One magic formula = instant BOOM CHICKA WAH WAH?

It’s not that people don’t want your offensive bad mouth opinion, but just try controlling whatever upsets you're going through yourself and learn the trades of good inoffensive communication.

Either that, or look in the mirror, realize the reality of your meaningless life and just grow up.

PS: The commercial was totally irrelevant but just thought it was pretty funny :)

Mainstream-ness?

_

I realize my blog has gone a little more mainstream now, not that it has ever been very personal before but... somehow i just feel it has.

Come to think of it, it's not that mainstream either. LOL i dunno.

"Live long and prosper"

Simply put it; the best prequel ever told.

Star Trek was so entertaining and incredibly satisfying to watch with a perfect blend of action, drama, space mythology and nostalgic comedy. Striking an energetic balance with its younger cast that would please both longtime fans and amaze even the people who know nothing of Star Trek. (I’m proof of that!)

One of the best sci-fi films every created since the Matrix or more closely, Star Wars. I’m a believer in Star Trek now :)

Go watch it, LIKE NOW.

It was okay...

X-Men Origins: Wolverine was sadly yet expectedly 'just okay'... it leaves you with almost no feeling of wanting to relive the experience and nothing more to talk about. There were quite a number of cheesy cliché parts and (most dissapointing) noticeable substandard CGI work. As for the story, well, like the title puts it, is about the origins and how Wolverine came about.

You'll probably come out of the cinema saying "Oh, so that's what happened"... but that's about it.

Nevertheless, the movie is solely telling the story about Wolverine and was entertaining to some extend, (I think many expected too much). Showing characters like Deadpool and Gambit was pretty cool too though.
