If you have not watched Valkyrie in cinemas yet, please freaking do me & you a favor and do so! This 20th July 1944 plot that failed to assassinate Adolf Hitler has to be 2009’s best movie period! I shall say no more, nuff said! :)

Blink is nigh!

Probably Year 09’s best news thus far… the confirmation by Travis, Tom and Hoppus themselves of BLINK182’s REUNION on what better place than the Grammy’s :)

Hoppus jokingly said, "Isn't it great to see the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder back together again?" after the unlikely pairing performance.
Barker added, "We used to play music together, and we decided we're going to play music together again,"
Hoppus then yelled, "Blink-182 is back!"

A statement was published on their official website saying:

“Hi. We're Blink-182. This past week there've been a lot of questions about the current status of the band, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us. To put it simply, we're back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy. Summer 2009. Thanks and get ready."

Being a Malaysian and having something original is fairly uncommon, piracy is quite our culture (come on people… don’t deny it). In the form of DVDs let alone, it is definitely something to be declared about.

So here am I, to declare to you that I have been bestowed an ORIGINAL, wait for it… wait for it… Sex & the City – The Complete Series Collector’s Giftset! [insert girly scream here]


A set of 20 discs with bonus materials, all enfolded in a pink velvet album that can be placed in a clear protective plastic case for one real proud display! Tempting huh? Plus, finally will I discover the hype behind the acclaimed, highly rated HBO sitcom :)

BTW, possibly be getting a few new extra sets as nice presents to give away... anyone interested to get it can inform me... Valentine's Day is around the corner, you know :)

I lost money and gone plump

It’s scary to sit down in the toilet one day and look down and realize something that was not there before to suddenly appear… my tummy looked alottt small before.
Well it is typically what happens during the annual sequential Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year cycle of overindulgence.
Eating was breathing then, and mind I tell you, I didn’t hold my breath :/

The annual routine returned, headed north back to my mother’s hometown Taiping, Perak… the apparent dull small old “heritage” town has resulted to me resorting downloaded movies that I wouldn’t have watch even if I had the time for that 5 days I was back there.

Mama Mia and Twilight was just par... but what surprised me was The Hottie & the Nottie that turned out quite okay, a movie that I would watch again frankly. Not because Paris was in it, but if you can actually look pass ‘Paris Hilton’ in the movie (which is quite hard), it’ll be much better… and the movie is really kinda sweet.

I have braces, did I tell you that?

Forced on by my mom after my 21st birthday as part of a “present”, and after been nagged on forever, I finally gave in at a should-have-been-earlier-than-now age. Not that I needed to have them, but my mother wants my teeth perfect, gotta love her for that I guess.

I also broke it now after just 3 weeks and without noticing ate a quarter of the wire, cause I’m hardcore :)
