Malaysia Can!

_
Here’s a ‘Merdeka’ special for everyone, pictures I’ve gather over the months around places and a glimpse into what makes Malaysia, well… Malaysia. Enjoy.

Malaysia can never decide if they want to have signs all in English or Bahasa so they opt to combine both, simply brilliant!

The side passenger seems to be more enthusiastic in racing than the driver itself.

What a way to sell your stuff eh?

"STRONG. Medicine for men/Halal/With license."
Oh they have license as well, it makes everything less suspiciously vague doesn't it?
I'm just gonna give them a call right now.

BumbleBee!? I mean... "Lebah Bumbel!?"
I didn't know you have horns sticking out of your ears.

A Toyota Vios is never a Lexus,
it's still a TO-YO-TA, save up will you?

Okay, so there's a toilet & stairs to the left and stairs & lift to right. Then there's a toilet, lift & stairs to the left and stairs, toilet & lift to the right... Got it! Thanks Tropicana City!

"Creamy Fat, Loved by Many." Yeah, everyone loves CREAMY FAT!
Just what we need, more fat people.

Parking Fail.
I'm not gonna blur your plate out, cause you deserve the humiliation.

Got this off the net, not sure if it's Malaysian but sure sounds like it. So check your balconies, we'll be seeing alot of suicide by hanging soon!

My all time favorite! I hate all of you! Hahaha!

"Up", I almost cried.

_

Pixar’s "Up" is somehow very different from the rest, an animated film that is heavily driven by a plot; an unexpected, slow-to-reveal, touching human drama. It isn’t the funniest, the most entertaining or the most exciting animated movie out there, but certainly tear-jerking touching.

It ‘lifts’ you up to show you life in a nutshell and is all about love, dreams, lost and letting go.

Up is a movie that throws heavy ‘thoughts of life’ at you, an ability all movies should have, a movie that when you walk out, you kinda have to just pause and wonder about things, about you, about life. Simply an amazing feeling.

And I rate it a good 9.5 on my scale just because I’m a plot person and if you don’t like it then I guess you fail to see the underlining touching story behind its mellow drama.

'I Love You, Beth Cooper' Première

_

Here comes another premiere review!
A classic teenage romance with a whole lot of harmless adventures and mindless fun, silly and awkward are in the mix. However, as shallow and nonconstructive as this movie turns out to be, it was strangely compelling, entertaining and not hard to watch. And in its best moments, it kinda touches the heart and somehow able to remind you to appreciate life a bit more.

It was also refreshing to go watch a simple movie like this and I realize sometimes you don’t need smarts or deep plots to get the message across but, just that few instants of insignificant things in life depicted in a movie that can get to you the most. My advise? Go watch it and don't be surprise if it was worth your time.

Ticket thanks to Miss J.

Why so stupid!?

I dont get 'open burnings'.

Why is there a want/liking/fancy/need to burn stacks of dried leaves?

I really cannot find the simple logic behind burning all those dried leaves. Is there an achievement you get that i don't know of? All over we're talking about global warming, heat waves and not to mention the recent haze here AND a few houses away you see people setting up little bon fires of dried leaves... for what? FOR WHAT!?

How is burning dried leaves suppose to do any good to you? to your spouse? to your kids? to your space? to your neighbours? to the community? to the society? to your freaking free time? and to your God-given logic?

Has it not occured to you that smoke is airborne and not only travels upwards (aiding air pollution, greenhouse effects, global warming and the probable slow death of every living thing on earth in the near future) but also in every other direction possible and to maybe, JUST MAYBE to your neighbour's house that you took so much consideration for... specifically MY HOUSE!?

I didn't think so.

There are others ways to get rid of dried leaves than to literally use it as a tool for global warming you numbnut. Want to really get rid of them fast? Dig a hole in the ground and bury em, that way not only do you get rid of them fast, you get a quick exercise and you help nature's natural course of biodegration or just bag them.

Also, keep your arsenic fetishes to yourself, and if you feel the urge to have lil bon fires, do them inside the comfort of your own house and see how that goes.

OMG. MTV.

ooo... they're calling us Mosh Pitters!

I’m going to MTV WORLD STAGE with Mosh Pit entries!
Woohoo! Finally do I have a trivial chance to be associated with MTV in some way! :)

As a boy growing up, MTV has been a huge part of me…
It was either normal life or MTV back then... so I chose MTV over life for at least a good portion of my teenage years that’s why I don’t have much friends. AHA. no really. Eyes cemented onto that light-box almost every day, just watching music clip after clips; it was life altering, mesmerizing I tell you!

Looking forward to Hoobastank and AAR, always wanted to see them live and also now, UK's new IT girl Pixie Lott. I mean just look at her! Super cute, hot and has quite a voice.
Never knew her till now though.

it's gonna be an interesting night :)

And the feature lineup includes:

Hoobastank

We're done!

Lecturer Victor left, and the group.

Most likely the last business group presentation we’ll ever be doing as a group or that I’ll be ever doing, signifying the near completion of my degree, though graduation is still quite far away. Definitely will miss the times back at HUC as well as the current one.

Here’s a short cut-clip of our Nike presentation & slides that I must say I’m proud of producing… good way to end the semester and our final Uni presentation.
