Why so stupid!?

I dont get 'open burnings'.

Why is there a want/liking/fancy/need to burn stacks of dried leaves?

I really cannot find the simple logic behind burning all those dried leaves. Is there an achievement you get that i don't know of? All over we're talking about global warming, heat waves and not to mention the recent haze here AND a few houses away you see people setting up little bon fires of dried leaves... for what? FOR WHAT!?

How is burning dried leaves suppose to do any good to you? to your spouse? to your kids? to your space? to your neighbours? to the community? to the society? to your freaking free time? and to your God-given logic?

Has it not occured to you that smoke is airborne and not only travels upwards (aiding air pollution, greenhouse effects, global warming and the probable slow death of every living thing on earth in the near future) but also in every other direction possible and to maybe, JUST MAYBE to your neighbour's house that you took so much consideration for... specifically MY HOUSE!?

I didn't think so.

There are others ways to get rid of dried leaves than to literally use it as a tool for global warming you numbnut. Want to really get rid of them fast? Dig a hole in the ground and bury em, that way not only do you get rid of them fast, you get a quick exercise and you help nature's natural course of biodegration or just bag them.

Also, keep your arsenic fetishes to yourself, and if you feel the urge to have lil bon fires, do them inside the comfort of your own house and see how that goes.
