It’s something many of you might have already known and many who just heard it. One Tree Hill has taken a run for the worst, signing off its two main cast members in a shameful decision made by the network executives.
Lucas Scott (Chad) isn’t just a main cast member, he IS One Tree Hill, the whole show started and revolves around him and signing him off just makes no sense at all!
And to add hot sizzling oil to the wound, they decided to sign Peyton Sawyer (Hilarie) off too. One Tree Hill’s most adored couple with probably the best love story ever to be told on TV will soon see an abrupt end to it.
That’s like the equivalent to having William Shakespeare’s play without Romeo and Juliet, the Titanic without Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, Transformers without Optimus Prime and Megatron or even One Tree Hill without Lucas & Peyton, I heard all of your gasps alright… the horror I know.
They're better off calling it Lone Tree Hill.

CW is just plain stupid.. their ratings r so gonna fall.. seriously, without lucas n peyton, there's just no way one tree hill will evr b d same again.. n this is not in a good way.. i hate the network execs! haih :(

the only thing we can hope for is that they come back the following season, but what are the chances that both Chad and Hilarie will join OTH again!?
They'll be probably be busy doing some other stuff then.

Yawns. One Tree Hill should be cancelled altogether. The tragedy is that the show is still on air.

What are the network people thinking?? and are they keeping people like Mia and Julian or sth?
But admittedly the show was losing its shine already :( with the demise of Peyton and Lucas, they will have no fans :/

Yeah, season 6 was abit downhill... but I was really hoping that it would fluctuate up next season, but after this news... i highly doubt so too.
Mia and the rest are signed on from what i've heard, the only ones in the danger zone are Chad & Hilarie.
