Got première tickets to see the long awaited 'HANCOCK'
led by non-other than, the very talented Will Smith =) .
Was already late, my première was at GSC 1U… Adrian, Edric, Steph was waiting… but somehow, someway I ended up at Cineleisure. And ironically, I was with my family at 1U already before I rushed and got dropped off at Cineleisure!
Don’t ask why or how. Cause I don’t know either.
And so, (as weird as this might sound) for the first time in my life… I took a taxi to One Utama! To make it weirder, it was from the Curve!
It just felt so strange, it’s been so long (I could hardly remember) since the last time I felt this impotent to where I wanted to go, or ever needed my dad to drop me off somewhere… or even sat in a taxi! LOL.
I wouldn’t want to be a spoiler to you, but this superhero comedy is definitely different compared to the all-cliché superhero movies that we’ve all seen and learn to love. Not everyone is going to enjoy HANCOCK, but to the people who would like to see their superheroes from an unexpected/odd angle, should like this. I personally was okay with it because this movie somehow (in a sense) took a different approach from the typical superhero storyline but lacks the "wow" factor to nail down its audiences.
