Nicholas White was working late on one Friday night, when he went for his longest cigarette break ever. He was returning to his office on the 39th floor when the elevator stopped between floors. With the building deserted and rescue 41 hours away…
He had no watch, no cell phone, no food or water.
You could see maintenance workers fixing various stuff on the other cars but none on car No. 30 that he was in.
Watching the video, i don't think any of us can imagine being put in his position... EVER. Being quite claustrophobic, I'd certainly die either from insanity or the overdose of extreme claustrophobia waaayyy before dehydration even sets in!
Btw, he still takes elevators... "Living in Manhattan I'd be seriously limiting my life if I didn't take elevators," he said. LOL
