I Am Legend, is a fairly above-average movie for me. The movie follows the same pathology of an apocalyptic plague similar to that of “28 Weeks Later” where it trails a minority of humans trying to survive in a zombie infested world. Considering that the zombie film genre has overly stretched itself a little too far over time… this movie was able to pack punches doing a fine job of reenacting this genre.
Good rounds of suspense throughout with nice views of the “Big Apple” all to yourself and providing you with a very real sensation of being all alone.But the movie has its drawback as it lacks relevance, meager quality zombie CGI and an ending that wasn’t something that could be remembered. Even so, Will Smith did fabulous and nailed his character flawlessly, he saved the movie. (the dog helped too, seriously!)
