Went Midvalley yesterday night for “The Premiere of Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer” at 9.30pm with dear Miss Angel who so kindly accompanied me to see the show =D.Well, ticket redemption was actually at 9.30pm then the “Cocktail Party” was to be at 10.30pm, so we had one hour to burn which went relatively quicker than I thought... seriously, how time flies by.
Before I realized it, we were both (or maybe just me) engulfed by issues/topics to talk about, you know like typically... those girl-to-girl talks, only thing is that I’m a guy with sentences like “OMG…Really? Get Out!” “Then I was like…whatever”. Ok…that didn’t really happen but u get the picture =D.
I actually felt whole and refreshed just... chatting, exchanging thoughts as if Miss Angel and I knew each other a long time (which in reality was…less than 3 months ago?) strangely... just like a close friend. To literally “just talk” about anything under the Sun/Moon was something I have never done in a long time since this increasingly busy life have robbed me of that, and it was really nice to just leave everything, lean back, relax and talk =D. The last time I remember having a similar talk was with... wk ahahaha! (way back when we were younger)
Angel, about the Zorro II thingy... It still really bothers me that it was you, but… 2 years ago! (freaky!) I’ll call it the ZII phenomenon: a very weird and mysterious paranormal incident/occurrence haha.
Ok so back to that night, the so-called “Cocktail Party” was good... after I saw those sandwiches =D. They had loads of shandies, (since Anglia was the main sponsor) and a good variety of finger food (mmm… sandwiches =D), except the missing "cocktails" which happen to be the title of the "parthay".
Our premiere tickets were huge, biggest tickets i ever gotten for any movie! Half the size of an A4 paper to be exact.
So we were in the cinema by 11pm (we had really good seats btw =D) where they had a lil speech to thank us for being there followed by games (yes...games) all happening in the cinema itself, something me and Angel first-handedly experienced and it was quite unusual yet ironically... very interesting! Too bad Little Miss Angel was being a bit of a stuck-up and didn’t wanna participate in 'em *sigh* =P. Don't point at me, at least I tried… =P. Darn, couldn’t wait to laugh at you if you had to run up and down the cinema and stack up those cans.
(I would literally die of laughter…I can only imagine...Ohohohoho!)
Oh yea! Plus the blind not so heroic-looking Malaysian version of The Silver Surfer! Hahahaha
Sigh...I regretted not taking a pic with him, and yes Angel you were right I actually really did wanna take a picture with him… and I know you do too! =D
Now the main part…the movie! hehe
Well it was ok... I would love to give spoilers, but it wouldn’t be the right thing to do wouldn’t it?
The Verdict
Shawn & Angel’s rating is a 7/10…but that was also because of the extra fun and activities we had along with the movie =D
1) Would I rate it the same if it weren’t the Premier Tickets?
Hmm…Nah! I'll rate it a 6/10 for the movie alone
2) Would I exchange it with Gold Class Tickets?
No! Gold class doesn’t offer games, good food and a lot of shandy =P
3) Was the movie the highlight of the night?
Umm well, not really haha... it was more of the overall experience (unusual, interesting, relaxing and just living in the moment and the movie =D)
Overall...had a GREAT time!
Two highly claimed narcissist, with Angel having more narcissism... face to face (not forgetting the black spot on your cheek =P), is definitely a night worthy to be recorded as Memorable Moments =D
and Angel… I cannot thank you enough for accompanying me =)

Yes, there is… in this second episode, it gets even weirder as Shawny (the hot guy in the movie) founds out that he had…was… (Aha, no no I can’t tell you… you’ll have to wait till the second episode of the movie comes out =P) but from certain spoilers and prediction from the internet that I heard, it’s going to be really intense… where there is a mysterious twist at the end.
What? How dare you call the upcoming movie “ZII” LAME!? This is blasphemy!
The most anticipated movie ever…that could be amongst the midst of great movies like The Titanic and Braveheart.
That’s how great this movie is my dear.
